Luke and Kayla
We’re Luke, Kayla and Cohen. Luke is a Senior Project Manager for a Pharmacy Software Company, where he works from home. He is such a gentle spirit and hands-on Dad, our son often checks in on him in his office to see when he's ready to play! Kayla is a full time at home Mom, who also happens to be Cohen’s absolute favorite person right now. Kayla is a very confident, encouraging and uplifting person that loves playtime and making every moment special for our son.
We met at a church event in 2007 and were married two years later. We’ve been married for 13 years now and spending time together in marriage is so much fun when you’re doing it with your best friend. Our walk with God and focus on family is the cornerstone in our lives.
We prayed about adoption for years before adopting our first child, Cohen (see photo above) who now makes us wonder what life was even like before he became a part of our little family. We’re so proud and in love with him! He’s a ball of energy that our world currently revolves around – you’ll usually find him speeding down our long hallway in his walker while laughing loudly, enjoying all types of new foods or enjoying time with the other children in our extended family.
We love Holidays and vacation time - our large families all come together! We live in a wooded community on a lake so walks, bike rides, wagon rides, golf cart rides, kayaking, fishing and boating are just some of the daily activities we like to enjoy at home.
We’re so excited to continue our adoption journey and add to our little family. We’ve made a commitment to provide an uplifting, encouraging, and love-abiding home for our children.
